The Application
Membership is open to everyone. Salvation is open to everyone who pays.
You have read this far. This is either faith or boredom, and the Hollow See does not tell the two apart. Either way, you are ready to apply.
Membership is free. Your soul is not. Applicants accept the Terms, which are nothing, and agree to receive the monthly newsletter, which is blank.
- Do I have to believe in anything?
- No. That is rather the point.
- Can I keep my hobbies?
- Yes, as long as you feel nothing about them. Most people with hobbies already feel nothing about them. You may be closer than you think.
- What if I am already happy?
- That will pass. Please have your Swish ready for when it does.
- Is this a cult?
- A cult would have a building with opening hours.
- Can I leave?
- You can. It will not matter. Nothing does.
Once received, your application is placed in the queue. The queue does not move. This is not a fault in the system. The queue is the system.
